hela Sverige Massive is looking for a User Interface Designer to join our Far Cry 3 team.
About the position
As a designer working in the borderland between the game functionality and the end-user you'll be responsible for bringing order to the complex streams of information that is fed to the user from many interconnected game systems. You'll be part of close-knit teams responsible for creating compelling and intuitive interfaces for games.
You'll be involved in the whole development process from conception to implementation and testing. Working in collaboration with passionate colleagues from many disciplines, e.g. programmers, artists and designers, will require you to always keep the bigger picture in mind while being able to discuss details with involved team members.

• Navigation structure and functionality
You as a candidate
You are an avid gamer with a strong passion for FPS games. You should have an exceptional ability to organize data and game options, and presenting it in a logical and clear way. You thrive in an environment where you need to communicate frequently to get your work done. You are passionate about quality.
Qualifications
• Experience in working with asynchronous user interactions for online platforms
• Ability to quickly identify and resolve conflicts between disciplines in ways that falls within the boundaries of the overall creative vision
• Familiar with concept of "Kill your darlings" and hammer out another design proposal when required
• Intensive curiosity and ability to keep up with development and trends relevant for design disciplines
• Extensive experience from playing FPS shooters both for consoles and PC.
Additional qualifications
• Conceptual understanding of the technical constraints in game development
• Experience in designing social gameplay systems
• Strong self-motivation and ability to self-manage
• Keen eye for graphical design
