For our client, Poolia IT is now looking for a consultant to work as a UI Designer with a strong knowledge and understanding of user interface for digital platforms (web and native). The assignement will start in September and last until end of December 2017.

Arbetsuppgifter
You work in close collaboration with UX/frontend and together as a team you are responsible for developing the design and structure primarily for our online store. This by inspiring layouts, strong typography and smooth interactions creating an easy-to-use framework with the purpose to inspire and lead to purchase.
You work mostly in sprints, have technical understanding and the habit of making and using pattern libraries, and using component based design. A strong e-commerce knowledge, fashion interest and the ability to manage large projects as well as multiple activities with tight deadlines are also part of the role.
In this role you will:
• Sweat the small details that others overlook
• Forging and executing exciting digital ideas
• Visually guiding the customer through our digital store interface via interactive elements and across all platforms.
• Provide user-centered design expertise from concept to delivery
• Collaborate with marketing function and creative to ensure consistency of brand identity
• Ensure graphic solutions are optimized for integration, performance, usability and sustainability
• Produce and create digital design solutions, mockups, graphics and layouts
• Staying up to date with industry trends
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We would like you to have:
• Relevant education within digital design
• 2 to 3 years work experience from digital design work
• Digital design capabilities across multiple platforms and devices
• E-commerce design experience
• Knowledge of UX principles and how to design in accordance with them
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong typographical, graphical and conceptual skills
• Experience with working in tight collaboration with developers
