We're now looking for a Head of Product Design to take on the responsibility for ensuring that our existing and new solutions meet the need of our users, are accessible, beautifully designed, and deliver a smooth user journey across our different products. With a wide variety of solutions one key to our ongoing success is that the users feel like they are in one system and can easily find their way to the value we provide.
About the role
As Head of Product Design, you will manage our product design team, currently consisting of UX and UI designers, and you'll report to the Chief Product Officer. But you'll also be operative and work with various UX projects. The product design team is currently distributed between Oslo and Stockholm and this position can be placed in either of those locations. Your work will be split into three main areas:
• Drive and participate in discovery and delivery together with the product- and development teams
• Drive design strategy and advocacy in the whole organization
• Manage and develop the product design team, processes and competence
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role we believe that you are an inspiring and supportive leader with a deep interest in people - both colleagues and users. You have several years of experience in the field, and you master a wide toolkit in all areas of the design cycle. You use your experience to work out an efficient design process that suits the specific needs of the organization you work in. Some specific skills and experience we're looking for are:
• Formal education in interaction design, Human Computer Interaction or similar
• Experience of working with UX in a product organization
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English
• Data driven and slightly obsessed with understanding the users
• User journey and service design
The position is a permanent employment with start date determined by agreement, and can be based in either Stockholm or Oslo.
