Tripwell is an international marketplace for vacation homes. A place where people who have a vacation home to rent out come together with those who are looking for a place to rent. Using Tripwell you can book and pay online and you can communicate with hosts and guests.

As a User Experience & UI Designer you will be part of Tripwell's product development team, working closely with our engineers and our product manager. You should have a strong empathy for our users and a creative yet structured brain. Your mission is to design products that are easy to use, accessible and intuitive, focusing on interaction and visual design. As part of this process, you will craft and conduct user centric tests with real users to make sure new product design is based on real user feedback. You will take the lead on creating high-level and detailed interaction flows as well as the visual UI designs. Basically, you will be the rock of the user experience design process, making sure our products are simple and great for our users.
Key responsibilities
• Taking leadership on defining, redefining and creating the visual design and user interaction for existing and new Tripwell products.
• Developing storyboards and mockups etc. to effectively test and communicate design ideas
• Designing and be part of conducting user tests and experiments
Skill requirements
• Relevant university degree or equivalent industry experience
• Practical experience from doing user tests
• Proven skills in visual UI design
• Understanding the difference between UX theory and project reality
Bonus Points
• Extensive practical experience of designing clean web products
• Experience from rapid and simple prototyping
• Excellent team and communication skills
• Experience from lean UX and working in an agile team
• Multiple language knowledge (English a must)
• Strong technical background
