A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role you will be responsible for assisting with IT infrastructure topics, faults and issues, and supporting with the rollout of Siemens Energy Central projects to the Swedish sites. As a member of the Swedish Technical User Support team, you will be located in Finspång but also provide remote support to other sites and employees around Sweden and closely work together with colleagues located across Europe.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Support on local IT infrastructure services thereby ensuring that employees can work, and access required IT services
* Assist with the implementation of Global Infrastructure Projects to Swedish sites
* Investigate faults and collaborate with other IT teams and suppliers to find and implement solutions
* Assist with IT Asset management and housekeeping
* Work as part of the European Technical User Support team and collaborate on IT topics, and be a representative of the local business
* Assist with end user complaint management and escalations
* Actively participant in IT insider communities
* Support in review of centrally provided user material, and assist with end user communication
What You Bring
* Education in IT support with focus on IT infrastructure
* 1-3 years experience working in an IT environment
* Have deep technical problem-solving abilities
* Willingness to learn new skills
* Superb communication and team working skills
* Proficiency in English, Swedish skills is meritorious
About the Team
As a User Engagement professional, you work within the Technical User Support department. This department ensures efficient & effective use of IT services and creates consistent end user communication to help Siemens Energy continuously improve its efficiency in daily business, resulting in overall end user satisfaction and efficiency improvements. Based on the Siemens Energy Infrastructure Governance, you are responsible to support local infrastructure topics and support global infrastructure rollouts. You are part of a global, international team while acting as the local "face of IT" to the user on every organizational level.
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
