From our office in Östermalm, we take care of global talents that are relocated to and from Sweden through their employment. We are growing rapidly and we are continuously expanding our horizons, which is why we are now looking for an Immigration Consultant with an active United States bar license to assist our clients with their corporate immigration needs to- and from the United States.
You will keep close contact with both Swedish and international corporations, Swedish and American govermnent authorities, and key actors in other relevant different fields, so full English proficiency is a must and Swedish proficiency is a big plus. We hope that you are an outgoing problem solver with sharp analytical skills and issue spotting skills that wow people. The successful candidate must have an active bar license, be in good standing with the state bar, and not otherwise be prohibited from practicing US immigration law. A demonstrated interest in immigration law is a big plus.
To work as an Immigration Consultant for us means that no two days are ever the same, so you should like having a lot of different things on your plate. Although your primary focus will be US based immigration, we gladly see that you are able to tackle some of Sweden's immigration challenges as well. We believe that you are structured, that you bring a large portion of positive energy to the table, and that you never compromise the quality of the product you deliver. You should also be flexible, a team player and not afraid to pull some extra weight for your colleagues if need be.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
• Prepare and submit applictations to the USCIS / US Consulate in Sweden
• Prepare and accompany applicants to their interviews at the US Consulate
• Keep clients informed through all stages of the application process
• Research legal issues
• Answer questions from prospective- and current clients
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients
• Answer the phone, take and relay messages
• Participate in internal projects
