Volvo Technology (VTEC) is a Business Unit within the Volvo Group. We work in all areas of transport solutions; commercial vehicles, passenger cars as well as aeronautics. In order to provide Volvo with world class technical solutions, we run and participate in advanced engineering and development projects within Volvo.
We network and collaborate globally in national and international research programs focusing on long term research, development and innovation. We are located in Sweden, France and North America.
Internship: Urban Transport Solution / Partnership with customer
Build base of partnership between Volvo and one of its customers relative to operations in Brazil
Understand the customer operations in Brazil, What is the type of their deliveries, How looks like the logistic model
What are the customer challenges on urban deliveries?
What are the customer expectations from such partnership (improve image, position relative to world cup or Olympic Games?)?
Understand our Volvo Trucks hard and soft offers
Understand our Volvo Technology hard and soft offers (connected to new business operations and others like Field operation test, simulation tools, Telematics offer)
What are the different legislations (current and future) that could influence the transport operations (security or green aspects?)
Investigate additional partners/ third parties that could support/influence the partnership set up
Propose content of partnership based on set of services / product / scenarios / fields operations test
Consolidate and argue our proposal to Volvo Trucks and the customer in line with their interest
The position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden at M1.6 for the period April 1st to August 26th
Profile
Education: Business school
Languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish
