Project Manager - Powertrain Systems
The Project Manager will have the responsibility for delivering the Powertrain content for a specific vehicle application project within CEVT Powertrain Engineering, including project collaborations with car brands within the group. The role will ensure that program activities align with the vehicle customer requirements, timing and budgetary expectations. The Project Manager will lead project meetings and participate in various vehicle level meetings to ensure progress and provide status reports. This role will support the Powertrain System PM's and reports to the Director Powertrain System Project management.
Responsibilities / Tasks
As Project Manager you are responsible for driving and leading Powertrain system projects so that they are managed successfully against the NPDS process to budget and timing constraints. This also includes to ensure project issues are managed with agreed solutions between China and Sweden teams.
You are responsible that projects are regularly reviewed and approved through the Powertrain governance process and ensure that issues are tracked and closed in timely manner prior to the required gate alignment.

In terms of the profile and background required for the position, we would highlight the following:
• University degree in Engineering or the equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in project management, ideally in the field of Powertrain and software development
• Leadership skills with ability to inspire, drive and motivate people and strong communication and influencing skills
• Structured and analytical with strong planning and project management skills
• Cultural awareness and interest in diversity
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
