The department Program Management is a team within Vehicle Engineering (VE) that include Vehicle Integration, Verification/Validation, Test objects and Assignment management. You will be part of the Program Management & Vehicle Integration group. The group manage Vehicle Engineering in the Requirement-setting, Analysis and Verification Processes for vehicle/platform projects at R&D. We follow, balance and summaries the Complete Vehicle attributes and systems against target fulfilment as well as record the current situation and prognosis against start of production.
As Unit Program Leader you will lead the Vehicle Engineering team with in the program for the development- and industrialization phase. Your main tasks include balancing the end product from an attribute, function, content perspective and time and cost.
Main responsibilities
• Plan, manages and controls the responsibilities of Vehicle Engineering in vehicle programs.
• Lead the Vehicle Engineering team for the assigned program
• Chairs the program technical Design Review Meeting together with the Program Engineering Manager
• Optimizes the end product's total attribute, function and content performance based on agreed requirement setting
• Contributes to attribute, function and system integration possessing deep complete vehicle knowledge
• Based on Lessons Learned contributes to operational development of business practices
Required qualifications
• University degree or similar corresponding knowledge obtained by practical experience
• Good knowledge from product development process, release of technical documents, CAE, planning, analysis & verification and finance control
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Swedish driving license
• Knowledge of attribute and verification
• Management experience in car programs
• Experience of CAE "Road to Lab to Math"-tasks
• Experience from functions development or verification/validation
• Good knowledge of products and - trademark is meritorious
• Green belt DFSS certification or similar competence
