Job Description
We are now looking for Unit Manager SAP Platforms that will be responsible for the SAP Unit, including operations and management. You will grow innovative, optimized SAP platforms & services to support products and businesses that address real customer frictions. As Unit Manager SAP Platforms, you will ensure that multi-functional teams provide high quality services and capabilities that meet the business needs of the organization. You will be the gatekeeper of stable and modern SAP operations as well as bring the best out of the other talented technologists on your team. Some of your responsibilities will include:
Ensure teams create/maintain conceptual, logical and detailed SAP Platform/Service Architecture while meeting security and operational requirements with a 'keep the core clean' approach
Accountable for technically modernizing the Core SAP Platform to realize a stable, secure and agile SAP platform, providing a key backbone technology for H&M Group
Support the teams in setting up a catalog, where relevant, driving delivery as per requirements and leveraging APIs where needed
Ensure state of the art SAP development and configuration practices through guidelines, guardrails.
Responsible for the SAP development center, functional translation and service management
Act as custodian for the SAP platform areas by encouraging the teams to constantly improve on operational efficiency by e.g., identifying operational issues, suggesting enhancements to business and other areas and push back on implementations
Create, lead and enforce the culture of SAP best practice solutions and operations
Embed and develop a culture of operational excellence with adequate ways of working
Support maintenance and minor developments/improvements on top of operations
Push for automation and innovation on SAP Platform areas, in a structured and strategized approach.
Coordinate creation & maintenance of architecture artefacts for SAP e.g., Architecture definition document, High level designs, physical components, and cloud architecture
Lead & support SAP teams from design to delivery with needed operational and maintenance procedures, while maintaining the highest level of security
Understand revenue and cost drivers of SAP and take accountability for achieving them
Support preparation of operations performance reviews, using data to support and present findings in clear and meaningful ways.
Ensure and support that teams implement, follow and understand the SAP agile methodology, SAP Activate, and how it applies to the overall BT devops/agile methodology.
Understand the future of SAP's product portfolio and services in an overall BT strategy context
Qualifications
15+ years operational experience in SAP operations, development and/or delivery
10+ years' experience in SAP development and SAP architecture, technical project management, solution delivery or technology consulting
Ability to apply architectural skills to effectively solve strategic technology challenges
Real passion for making an impact within the space of SAP
Ability to frame SAP enabled transformation projects: defining the data architecture strategy, defining the implementation strategy and setting the expectation
Strong people skills that contribute to an open and collaborative environment
Ability to communicate the technical vision to a variety of team members/leaders, in a business strategy context.
Ability to embrace & reduce uncertainty through continuous validated learning
Ability to partner with engineers and operational managers to define support documentation, control and portals
Enjoy working in a diverse, global, dynamic, collaborative, transparent, environment where everyone's ideas and opinions are equally valued
