H&M Group is transforming the way it addresses the continuously evolving and complex cyber security threats and risks. To do this we have created a new Tech Centre focused solely on managing Cyber Security for all our brands and majority investments. Within this Cyber Security Tech Centre, we have a unit that will focus on improving the governance of technology and cyber security related risks as well as ensuring our technology teams operate and provide solutions that comply with the relevant technology and cyber security regulations.
This role reports to Chief Technology Risk Information Officer.
Job Description
You will be responsible for acting as employer 's extended arm to follow and implement H&M Group 's vision, goals, strategies, values, policies, and processes as well as acting as an ambassador, representing the management internally and externally.
As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that your employees can deliver in an efficient way according to set goals- in a healthy work-life balance approach. In addition to staff responsibility, you will also contribute operationally to the management of complex cross-cutting initiatives, involving many parts of Business Tech and of global Business Organization with H&M Group.
In this role you will have formal staff responsibility for several Program Managers belonging to a specific job or area of competence. You will enable strong organizational health by making sure that your employees prioritize both deliveries as well as own competence development. As a team leader, you will ensure continuous dialogue, enable collaboration, remove impediments, and consistently improve performance. Your role also includes setting objectives and inspiring team members based on specific competence development needs work as well as facilitating performance management and salary reviews.
You will work closely with other stakeholders to coordinate delivery and drive close collaboration as well as monitoring the KPI's of the tech center overall. You will be responsible for evaluating and leveraging consultants' deliveries in rolling out and implementing ISO 27K standards and policies.
Furthermore, you will
Act, when necessary, on the remaining laws and policies compliance in regards to e.g., under performance, work environment, rehab cases etc.
Recognize progress towards ambitions, goals and reward a growth mindset. Be an ambassador as an active learner.
Own the FTC and FTE budget and monitor its financial effectiveness.
Drive continuous learning and development activates within their unit and grow the areas of expertise.
Manage multiple stakeholders.
Contribute operationally, where necessary.
Qualifications
Functional Skills:
Proven experience working as a Program Manager with demonstrated experience in leading and coordinating internal teams
Ability to coach others in a way that enables them to grow professionally and to increase their performance.
Experience working with both internal team members and consultants to drive a closer alignment with business objectives and tech strategy.
Experience setting and handling resource allocation budget.
Experience with working closely with governance forums, compliance, and risk mitigation measures
Ability to identify and contribute to employer branding activities.
Create a strong team culture where people collaborate and grow together.
Cultivate trust and empower others to both take responsibility and fail, learn and grow.
Handle difficult situations both in uncertain circumstances as well as in employee related matters.
Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communicative skills.
