Who are we?
Industrial Operations Accounting Services (IOAS) is the central accounting function for Scania IO. The department was formed in 2019 we are about 50 people working with accounting and reporting. The main purpose of the department is to create efficient financial processes and to delivering high quality accounting services. In this role you will be a part of one a smaller team passionate about helping Scania drive the shift to a sustainable transport system.
The role as Unit Accounting Responsible includes tasks such as bank- and account reconciliations, book closing and group reporting. This role also includes being responsible for actively driving improvements within the area of accounting and reporting through projects and improvement groups where converting needs to clear goals and deliveries are important.
Are you the one we are looking for?
A successful Unit Accounting Responsible has a good analytical ability and a strong accounting background. You have a university degree in a related field, a few years of accounting experience and strong skills in Microsoft Excel. Automation experience and implementing digital accounting solutions is strongly advantageous.
A suitable candidate for the role should be responsible, structured and an exceptional team player who actively contributes to the group's work and continuous improvement.
To satisfy the customers' demands you will also need to be skilled in communication, critical thinking and have good problem solving abilities. This role includes contacts with many stakeholders, for example accountants, controllers, and other people in the organization. This creates a stimulating and challenging role in a dynamic work environment. The ability to communicate fluently in English is necessary.
You must live in Sweden and you have worked with accounting in Sweden before. Being fluent in Swedish is an advantage.
