Our company offers hedge funds and banks cutting-edge algorithms for automated stock trading (statistical arbitrage). We’re looking for a highly motivated Perl expert that can think outside the box and deliver outstanding quality within tight deadlines. You will get responsibility for your own Perl-based stock trading strategy early on.
Responsibilities include
implementing trading ideas in Perl under the guidance of an experienced developer
automating internet information collection
simulate the results of your trading model using ready-made Matlab scripts
The one we are looking for is
a creative Perl expert with strong mastery of regular expressions
enthusiastic, hard working, independent but a good communicator
7+ years full-time programming experience with 3+ in Perl
holds a University degree or equivalent
fluent in English and living close to Stockholm (or willing to relocate)
experience in statistics, stock trading or Matlab is highly appreciated but not required
