We analyze thousands of review sources from all over the world and provide comparisons of the strengths and weaknesses of consumer products on the market. By helping consumers choose the best products in the field we hope to push the quality of all tech products upwards.
alaTest has offices in Stockholm, New York, Berlin and Wuhan and operates product reviews sites for consumers in 20 markets across the world.
We are looking for a UI/UX Web Designer who will be part of our web team in central Stockholm.
We offer a truly international work environment with 10 different languages currently spoken and our working language is English. The Stockholm office is situated in the middle of the tech startup area by St Eriksplan, on the top floor with a big roof terrace.
As a Web Designer at alaTest, you will participate in development initiatives focused on usability and work in close cooperation with different departments at alaTest. All graphic design and product management take place in Sweden, whilst the front-end development is carried out by our remote engineering team.
Responsibilities:
• Graphic design for our web sites and our mobile services
• Graphic design for the web-based services we offer to our B2B clients
• Make sure the usability dimension is catered for in our development projects
Requirements:
• Excellent portfolio showcasing strong web design ideas
• Experience creating contemporary websites and interfaces
• At least 2 years of experience as a Web Designer
• Must be authorized to work in Sweden
Personal skills:
• Thorough and flexible at the same time, a true doer that makes things happen
• A creative team player, always focused on making our users happy
• Structured with the ability to plan, organize and deliver
• You have an eye for details and can create beautiful interfaces without losing track of the possibilities and limitations of html/css and other technical boundaries
• Excellent English skills. Our company language is English and Swedish language skills are not required
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in an international team
Desirable skills:
• Experience designing online reporting interfaces and/or content management systems
