As a UI Engineer you are working with the presentation layer of the UI. You are cooperating with both designers and developers. You are working with Visual effects, animations as well as UI flows and navigation. The UI Engineer is working with TAT?s UI framework TAT Cascades and is programming in an xml-based language called tml (tat markup language).
• You will be working with Prototyping; using visual- and interaction- design specifications and creating a functional and visually correct prototype application.
• You will be working with Application and interface development; together with designers and C/Java developers creating beautiful and well functioning applications/user interfaces.
• You will also be working with TAT Cascades product requirements and bug rapports to improve the programming tool you are working with.
Required skills:
• Being able to write fast, solid xml-based code
• Strong hands-on XML, HTML, Action script and Java skills
• Building User Interfaces requires an eye for graphical details and layout
• Superior creative and innovative problem-solving skills
• Initiative and the ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
Preferred skills:
• Excitement for the latest trends in application design and interest in learning more about new languages and frameworks
• Experience practicing agile and fast-paced software development methodologies like XP or Scrum
• Other language skills (especially Korean, Japanese or Chinese)
• Willingness to travel on short- and/or long -term assignments
Typical experience:
• Web designer or web/game programming background
