hela Sverige We are looking for a passionate and engaged User Interface Designer with experience in mobile application design and web design to join our team. Hands on experience in advertising or marketing graphic design is a plus. The position is in Gothenburg, Sweden and is part of the global Opera Payment Product Department.The Opera Payments Platform (OPay) enables users to pay for various services through their mobile or web browser. It provides fast, easy, and secure payments and money transfers. Our key markets are emerging economies in Africa, Asia, and South America, where Opera has a traditionally strong presence and user base.As part of the design team, you will design and deliver a simple and easy-to-use payment experience both on mobile apps and on the web. You will craft visual styles, animations, and subtle details to deliver the perfect user experience. As a UI Designer, you will collaborate with other members of our product, design, and engineering teams to translate concepts into a living, breathing product and service.It is essential that the right candidate can articulate design rationally, verbally, and visually. Our products enable more than 350 million internet consumers to discover and connect with the content and services that matter most to them, regardless of the device, network, or location.If you're looking for a fast-paced, agile, and fun environment to work and have an interest in the payment industry, then Opera is the place for you!ResponsibilitiesDeliver innovative, engaging visual design on mobile and web, including visual mockups, motion design, assets, and specificationsFulfill multiple project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlinesBe able to take initiative, be creative and curious, organise design review meetings, and collect feedback from other teammates and from end usersReview other design work and provide constructive feedback to colleaguesCommunicate and collaborate with other cross-functional teammatesAssist engineers with the final development of Opera productsHelp create graphic design (e.g. campaign posters, banners) aligned with our brand's look and feel across all channels (e.g. online site, social media, stores).Help create print material (e.g. poster, notepads, packaging)RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in mobile app design and web designB.Sc. in Design or a related field, or demonstrated design knowledge in equivalent practical experienceExpert in SketchApp and Adobe Creative SuiteAn understanding of user-centered design process, methodologies, and principles of usabilityFluency in best practices for information architecture and designSelf-motivated and capable of working independentlyMust be comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage priorities wellBe fluent in English, both written and spokenNOTE: Portfolio required for candidatesIdeal job requirementsInteraction design skill and user research is a plus, e.g. wireframing, information architecture, usability testing, competitor analysis, etc.Motion designPrototyping and scriptingStrong planning, organizational and problem-solving skillsIntellectual curiosity to explore and push the limits of graphic design and art workWe're looking forward to receive your application!
