The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles require a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Experience as a IBM Mainframe / COBOL developer
• Experience with IMS and IMS databases
• Experience with JCL and DBA tools
• Experience with Rexx, PL/1
Working language: English
Meriting competence
• Swedish
• Experience with BMC
• Experience with Netview for automation
• Experience with Cobol, assembler, MQ, DB2, TWS
About the position
• You will work as a Mainframe Application Developer/Systems engineer
• You will become a member of the IMS team, you will be assigned to various tasks, both run-time and one time supporting shared services for customers
• The area to focus on is IMS & IMS DB
• Planning and implementation of software and management of existing
• Lifecycle management and further development within the IMS area
