The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Configuration management tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet or Chef
• Container technology such as Docker
• CI-tools such as Jenkins
• Artifact repositories such as Artifactory or Nexus
• Version control such as Git
• Scripting languages such as Python or Groovy
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Meritorious:
• An interest in security, networking and continuous delivery is a plus.

About the position
The problems that we would like to solve can be summarized as follows. We would like to be able to easily
• review changes to the environments
• restore the environments
• revert changes to the environments
• scale the environments
• keep track on all changes to the environments
• manage dependencies and ensure that dependencies can be resolved both locally and in production
• replicate behavior in production locally
