The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Professional SW developer experience
• Excellent programming skills in Python, good in Java
• Experience of defining, developing and maintaining a data pipeline
• Experience of working with big data infrastructure on-premises, in cloud or in a hybrid
• Experience using data processing tools such as Apache Spark
• Experience working with cloud solutions such as Azure in the IoT domain
• Experience in Docker container solutions
Working language: English
Meriting competence
• Understanding and experience of managing data security and integrity
• Experience with DevOps and automation solutions
• Data analytical skillset
About the position
• Working as a Data Engineer for IoT and cloud services.
• We work in Agile Teams in a flat organization with open exchange of knowledge and information.
• Design and implement service architecture for a fault-tolerant data pipeline by integrating data from many diverse sources
• Designing, setting up and maintaining an IoT and data pipeline, using Azure cloud services
