The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Experience as BI developer/data engineer
• Experienced with Microsoft Azure Data and Analytics solutions (e.g. Azure Data base, Datawarehouse, Analysis Services, Databricks and Power BI)
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure Data lake, SQL database and data warehouse solutions
• Experience in developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale ETL / ELT pipelines
• Ability to integrate data from a variety of sources using integration and orchestration tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory)
• Experience in developing data models using Azure Analysis Services and reporting using Power BI
• Knowledge of DevOps, Agile way of working

About the position
You will:
• Be a part of an agile team working with setting up data and analytics solutions
• Capture the potential that data and analytics can empower the client
• Design, build and integrate data from various sources
• Write complex business intelligence queries and create data
• Infrastructure in a simple and efficient matter
• Create data visualization products (e.g. Power BI reports) to enable business analytics
