The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Eucation/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Developing large complex solutions in Spring Boot Java on cloud environments
• Deep knowledge of cloud technologies, ideally Azure, but any cloud competence is merited, using Kubernetes, Redis, etc., together with custom built services
• Experience with developing re-usable APIs with many consumers
• Good undrstanding of RESTful services and json-based APIs
• Good understanding of pipelines and release processes
• Experience with devops and zero-downtime releases
• Have good knowledge, both written and oral, in English

About the position
• Work as a senior Spring Boot Java developer for a product in the Customer Engagement area. This is a rare chance to be part of building services that will be deployed on a global scale with millions of users!
• You will be a core member in the team to support development and solution architecture design.
• We work in 2 week sprints and 3 month product increments. We are a product based organization where each person will be part of delivering success. You are expected to contribute to objectives and key results, and help define the way the product is developed.
