The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Senior experience in software development for embedded micro controllers
• Senior experience in C and Python programming
• Neural networks: General know-how and specific know-how on compression techniques for CNN, RNN, LSTM
• Experience from deploying (code-generation and integration) machine learning models onto small embedded system, understanding how algorithms and models can be optimized without changing the results
• Know-how on compiler technologies in relation to algorithm optimizations
• Good understanding in Agile way of working and Verification & Validation methods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have
• Embedded uController expertise in how to optimize memory access, bus utilization, low level register optimization, CPU cache optimization.
About the position
• You will work as a senior software engineer to develop a tool for the translation of deep learning models to optimized target specific software code for embedded systems with limited resources.
• As a software engineer in an international team, you will design, develop, integrate, and debug this software tool for applying the models to the client's consumer products.
