The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• You have an academic degree (e.g. M.Sc.) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or other relevant background, and a sincere interest in software test development.
• Good programming skills, Python or similar, is required
• Experience of testing of embedded system functions is required
• Test automation, preferably against HIL- and/or SIL-environments, is required
Working language: English
Good to have:
• Test automation against HIL- and/or SIL-environments
• Experience from automotive development within powertrain control systems, is an advantage
• Automotive experience is an advantage
• Vehicle Interest and/or C/D driver license, is an advantage
About the position:
• work as a test developer with embedded software
• As a software test developer in this team, you will design and implement a software tests
• Development and test of powertrain control embedded system functions.
