The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• You are self-going with at least 3 years of experience in the field of Quality Assurance.
• Experience in test development, test automation and analysis
• Experience with deploying automated tests to Continuous Integration (CI) tool chain
• 3+ years experience with Python development
• Experience with embedded systems
• Experience of working with version- and revision control systems e.g. Git
• Experience with Linux
Working language: English
Wanted competence
• Preferably experienced working with Test Frameworks such as Pytest and Robot Framework
• Experience building up Test Infrastructure
• Experience with Test tool development
• Worked with Test metrics and visualization
• Worked with HIL (Hardware in the loop) rigs and automated test systems in automotive rigs
• Knowledge of automotive network communication protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN, Ethernet,
• Understanding of C++ or C development and debugging
About the position:
• Working as a QA engineer within a System Test team developing automated tests and tools supporting the overall quality. Y
• focus on both non-functional test such as CPU performance and stability, as well as overarching functional tests on a system level.
- the team is working with many different areas from car feature development, SW architectural design, SW build tools & CI pipelines and system analyses solving issues other teams have trouble figure out themselves.
• The team is working in an agile way where they have a great independence, ownership and trust.
