The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• At least 3-5 years working experience in testing
• Technical MSc or BSc or equivalent.
• Understands and can create electrical and electronic schematics
• Understanding of basic metrology and statistics
• Experience with bi-directional power supplies, Battery Management Systems and/or testing of Li-ion Batteries
Work language: English
Meriting
• Experienced in the automation of laboratory instruments such as power supplies, DMM, DAQs.
• Experience with National Instruments hardware
• Experience with C/C++ microcontroller programming
• Experience with CAN bus and Ethernet communication
• Experience in working with labview
Job Description
You are expected to:
• Drive the design and organize the build of test systems which allow the verification and validation testing according to the system and product requirements.
• Follow the product development process and design reviews with the necessary verification and validation testing in mind.
• Work closely with the other engineering teams and flag project risks pro-actively.
