The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required for this role:
• 5+ years of work experience as a software engineer using programming languages such as C#, C++ or other relevant object-oriented languages in the Microsoft stack
• Demonstrated history of working with agile development process
• Good knowledge and experience in different Azure services/resources
• Good knowledge of Docker/Container
• Good knowledge of unit test
Working language: English
Meriting competence:
• Preferably good knowledge and experience in different Azure services/resources: App Services, Azure Function, Cosmos, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Resource Management
• experience of Azure DevOps/Github or equivalent for source code control.
• Experience from working with distributed teams
• Preferably experience in JIRA & ServiceNow

• You will work as a Cloud Software Engineer
• Cross-competent product teams offer great individual responsibilities where you'll be accountable for the whole product lifecycle.
• You will design and build eco-system solutions with cloud technology like Microsoft Azure and work in close collaboration with our partners and internal stakeholders world-wide and together take the direction.

• You will work alongside a product owner, business experts and other software engineers in an agile team, with the responsibility for designing and creating solutions which fulfils our customers' shopping experience. Some of your daily work includes:
• Working with professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle
• Translate product strategy and requirement into suitable, maintainable and scalable solution design
• Collaborate closely with product owner and other cross-functional teams, share best practice as well as discuss and motivate design solutions
• And above all; Have an indecisive impact on how we shape the future of fashion by building solutions which exceeds our customers' expectations
