The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• 4 years + experience in Data Engineering/Data Collection.
• Experience of data collection automation using Python
• Experience developing own scripts
• Interest for open source
Work language: English

Your work tasks will include
• Work as a data engineer
• You'll join an interdisciplinary team, alongside dedicated engineers focused on building tools that will make your work more effective, and you'll have lots of opportunities to learn and grow.
You'll spend your time:
• Writing Python tools to harvest open source projects from the internet and incorporate them into our open source knowledge base
• Helping to find new sources of open-source software on the internet
• Exploring and establishing new abilities we need to develop our product to further achieve our mission
