The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Eucation/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Senior Devops or Application Support experience from complex business architectures
• Experience of Java
• Experience of PL/SQL
• Experience of Confluence/Jira
• English

About the position
• work as a Senior Java Developer with application management
• you will be part of a team for development and AM (Application Maintenance) of both the current Broadband/TV services implemented architecture as well as the future platform.
Activites to be performed:
• Make sure that the SW applications in the environment functions as expected and assist in sorting out any problems/incidents that might occur in this environment .
• Support the surrounding environment eg the other DevOps staff and Customer Service with recommendations/actions to solve issues related to particular customer cases.
• Be part of the Operations team and in that contribute to improve the Operations/AM situation for the platform in an ongoing manner.
