You will be part of Substation Automation Products in Västerås.
We are responsible for development, marketing and sales as well as manufacturing of protection and control products for power generation, transmission and sub-transmission network applications. The unit's product offer includes IED:s in the Relion 670/650 series as well as the COMBIFLEX family. The unit also offers services, for example education that enables the customers to obtain maximal benefit from their investment in ABB's protection and control solutions.
The challenge: Do you want to be a part of broadening the supply management offer at SA Products? Are you an organized and forward thinking leader? We are now looking for two new colleagues, one senior and one junior, who want to be part of the development of our fast growing department. You will be responsible for internal and external supply management projects. As you will be in charge of a team, you need to be a strong leader with social competence who enjoys working together towards set objectives. You will research, evaluate and quality assure as well as set demands towards suppliers. The suitable candidate therefore needs to be a keen and successful negotiator. The position entails close collaboration with both departments within the company and external suppliers in Sweden and abroad, which will provide you with opportunities for travels and a wide network.
The requirements: The position requires that you have solid background in project management and knowledge in supply chain, Lean, 5S Audit and an understanding of industrial production processes. Maybe you hold a degree in engineering, business administration or economics? Of course you know your way around MS Office. You need to have a great understanding of people and be fluent in English, as many projects will be executed together with other departments or between other companies, both on a national and international level. Knowledge in other languages is a plus. Additionally, you need to be highly motivated and influence the development of our offering. You know how to assess quality and carry through improvement of processes for the department. It is also important that you are systematic and have a sense of organization.
