Here we have the research specialisations of Embedded Systems, and Innovation and Product Realisation. Our work takes place in cooperation with and in strategic agreements with companies, organisations and public authorities in the region.

The positions are in the environment of Embedded System which is mainly dedicated to software development for embedded systems in automotive, rail and telecom domains, as well as in automation and process industry.
Position description
Mälardalen University is looking for two project assistants specializing in industrial collaboration. The positions will be mainly for proposal management, mainly for European projects within Horizon 2020. Part of the time will also be spent in running ongoing European projects as MegaM@Rt2.
The core tasks will be to:
• Network for creating new consortiums, pitching project ideas, collecting contacts at brokerage events, contact new potential partners, organize meetings with new partners etc.
• Collect participant data and budget requirements
• Write certain parts, as the impact, dissemination and management sections, and work packages in European proposals
• Be in control of Person Month-tables, Budget, Risks, Deliverables etc. in the proposals
• Facilitate meetings, organize plenary meetings and review meetings at the commission etc. with regard to agenda as well as logistics, accommodation, and invoicing
• Start up new projects
• Dissemination of projects, presenting the content and the project to interested parties
• Monitor and control the time reporting in our large projects
• Work on the projects communication plans, dissemination and commercialization of the results of the ongoing projects
• Project reporting
Qualification requirements
The applicants are required to have a bachelor or master's degree in areas related to computer science and engineering or project management or similar, and documented experience in work with writing of proposals, running European projects.
Applicants need to be highly motivated and fluent in English, both written and spoken.
They should also have a proven writing experience.
