hela Sverige On behalf of our client, ABB Power Systems, Adecco is searching for two Lead Engineers. You will be part of Substations in Västerås. The business unit designs and delivers complete substations for distribution and transmission grids. The complete substations mainly comprise high and medium voltage apparatus, transformers, protection and control systems, auxiliary power systems as well as construction and erection work. Substations in Västerås has approximately 200 employees.
Challenge: As Lead Engineer for substations and control systems, you are responsible for the complete technical solutions of our projects. This means that you will have an overall view of what technologies the projects utilize, and ensure that these functions work efficiently together. The solutions are either based on customer specifications or concepts developed by you. To fulfill your responsibilities, you will create technical concepts, gather define electrical systems data and decide on which high-voltage apparatus as well as relay protection and control equipment to use. Also, you will participate in technical and commercial discussions with customers and subcontractors. As the work is conducted in projects, with every case being unique, you will have a varying work environment including visits to plants (mainly in Sweden and Northern Europe.) '
Requirements: You are an Electrical Engineer with a broad knowledge of electrical systems for high voltages. In addition to this, you have at least a Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience. Knowledge in relay protection, plant operation or high-voltage apparatus for 1-800kV is required. You master English fluently, in writing and speaking, while Russian is qualifying. You are a social, goal-oriented and responsible person who enjoys frequent internal and external contacts. You have the ability to grasp the overall picture as well as its crucial details; you are able to structure and prioritize in an effective manner.
