Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
The two positions are professional analyst and advisers to Commercial Service Stockholm and Commercial Service Nordics management for planning, organizing and administering Commercial Services programs to facilitate the marketing and export of U.S. products and services, the protection of U.S. business interests abroad and the promotion of the U.S. as a direct investment location. In addition to overall knowledge of the country, economy and bilateral trade relationship, each incumbent has expertise in and responsibility for specific industry and service sectors. Using this knowledge and expertise to the benefit of U.S. companies through the selection, recommendation and delivery of Commercial Service country and regional customized solutions as well as on-the-shelf products and services; organization of trade events; counseling of U.S. and host country(s) companies.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in economics, marketing or business administration, finance, international trade, engineering or other closely related field of study. Prior Work Experience: At least four years of progressively responsible experience in business, government, or NGOs in the fields of marketing, trade, promotion, economics, international trade of similar field.
Language proficiency: Level 4, Fluent Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. Level 4, Fluent Speaking/Reading/Writing Swedish is required.
Job Knowledge: Through knowledge of the Swedish economy and trading practices, comprehensive understanding of foreign trade and issues affecting the Swedish economy's bilateral trade relations with the United States, understanding of USG trade policies and export promotion programs; working knowledge of international trade (terms and procedures). Skills and Abilities: Ability to develop and maintain an extensive range of appropriate mid and senior level contacts in the host government and private sector; to plan, organize and execute complex commercial research projects and to prepare precise and accurate factual and analytical reports; and to ender advice with detachment and objectivity, employing sound professional judgment.
