We are now looking for a Student Worker to join our Nasdaq Treasury team over the summer in Stockholm. Nasdaq is recognized around the globe as a diversified worldwide financial technology, trading and information services provider to the capital markets serving businesses and investors from over 50 offices in 26 countries across six continents - and in every capital market.
As a Summer Student Worker in Treasury, you will be part of the core treasury team and be performing treasury operations involving cash funds, foreign exchange, debt and capital management. You will also provide analytical and technical support to treasury-related activities. You will belong to a team that is part of the central finance organization, so you will have the chance to see Nasdaq as a whole and how we work across the globe.
Your role and responsibilities :
Support the broader Treasury operations within liquidity management, investment, risk and accounting.
Support in the analysis of cash management related issues such as bank account management, bank fee analysis, etc.
Assist the team managing global liquidity in projects to create better analytics and improve process automation.
Work on improvements to data quality and automation in support of our external financial reporting.
What we expect:
You are currently pursuing at least the second year of a BA/BS in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business or Data Science.
You have a genuine interest in the financial market and finance.
You also have a genuine interest in data and technology.
Some basic programming skills are a plus.
To suit this position, you are a team player but also enjoy working individually and you thrive to produce high quality work within deadlines. In addition, you are detailed-oriented and self-driven and take responsibility. Additionally, you have strong communication skills and you are fluent in English (both written and spoken).

This is an hourly-paid fulltime position during the summer, mid-May until mid-August (with flexibility around start- and end date depending on exams and school-schedule) located in Stockholm.
