We are looking for a Manager GBS Treasury Services Europe to join the Treasury Services team in Global Business Services. GBS is the service partner to the entire Essity delivering services within finance, human resources, workspace and master data. Our employees, spread across more than 35 countries, deliver both professional and transactional services every day to all our internal customers in Essity. The global GBS Financial Services leads the services delivered within the area of Accounting & Reporting, Asset Accounting, Tax administration, Treasury administration, other Financial Services related tasks and Internal Control services.
As Manager GBS Treasury Services Europe, you are responsible to manage Treasury Services in Region Europe in according to relevant accounting principles, regulations and standards, whether established by Essity, by authorities and regulators. Secure that Treasury Services activities in Europe are completed accurately and on time. You will lead, coach and develop an European team.
You report to the Treasury Services Manager GBS and this European position is located in Gothenburg Sweden. Some travel will be required, but most of the times we use skype, video etc. for meetings.
Main accountabilities and responsibilities
Responsible for own daily GBS Treasury activities within the region such as Payment runs, Liquidity planning, Hedging and Reporting to Group Treasury
Responsible for delivering the European Treasury services aligned with the agreed global frame work
Accountable for that the European organization's treasury activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant accounting principles, regulations and standards
Accountable for build relationships within area of responsibility (internally) and manage ongoing relationships to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
Accountable for to provide technical expertise and advice on treasury issues
Accountable for planning and resource allocation within the region
Accountable for customer satisfaction and continuous improvements in own area
Contributes to development of new and/or improved services, tools and processes through participation in projects and initiatives led by the services development teams
Lead, evaluate and develop the regional team by performing the employee management process for staff e.g. staffing decisions, coaching, development and evaluation. Provide specific, timely and constructive performance feedback
Key Competencies
University Degree or similar in finance
Equivalent to 5 years' finance/treasury experience including managerial experience
Fluent in verbal and written English and Swedish
Experienced in treasury and payment activities
Proven track record of successful work within finance and treasur '
Familiar with the complexity in leading remote teams in a complex, service-intensive, deadline-driven environment
Good knowledge and genuine interested in AI, RPA, Blockchain and other payment and cash management techniques and concepts
Experienced in new digital ways of working
Have high level of service and internal / external customers in focus
Drives continuous improvements and implements decided new technology/systems in own area or responsibility
Strong networking, interpersonal and influencing skills
International work orientation or experience
Leadership Capabilities
Takes responsibility and is accountable; Holds people accountable and drives continuous improvements
Builds effective teams, sets directions and empower people
Communicates effectively; conveys a message, inspires and motivates and influence others.
