Who are we?

Our Treasury department consists of 10 members who are responsible for Klarna 's financing as well as managing financial risks connected to changes in interest rates and currency rates. Treasury is also responsible for Klarnas liquidity management and bank relationships. The department makes sure that Klarna has enough financing available to manage its daily operation, projected growth and that the costs for the financing maintain on a reasonable level. The department is divided into two teams - Funding & Capital and Treasury Operation - in which you would be a part of the latter.

What will you be doing?

As Treasury Controller you will be working with the Group's liquidity, investments, and risk management related to the company's financial activities. You will work closely with various stakeholders externally and internally and act as a subsidiary support. Mainly, you will keep track of financial risks and the workflow of the treasury operations as well as participate in internal cash management. You will in addition to this handle various ad hoc tasks and projects.

You possess a University degree within a relevant area and have at least five years work experience. In your previous positions you have gained hands-on knowledge of bank account structures - internally and externally - and have been involved in working with various interest rate instruments and currency transactions. You have worked with bank/treasury systems including currency administration and are used to work with bank payments in various currencies. From your education or work experience you have also gained solid knowledge within accounting. You might have experience from working within a bank in previous positions.

Personality wise you are curious, outspoken and enjoy being a part of developing a team and the organisation as a whole. You have a can-do attitude, are non prestigious and love sharing your ideas. You thrive when you are able to come up with new initiatives and take great responsibility in your own work and how to improve it in any way possible. You value great quality and always keep the bigger picture in mind.
