Treasury Analyst
We are now looking for candidates to join the Cash Management & Settlement team in Group Treasury, which has a group wide responsibility for daily settlement activities, payment infrastructure, bank accounts, cash concentration, subsidiary funding as well as the short-term cash position.
You will play an important role within Treasury and work in the settlement team. In this role you will make sure liquidity is handled correctly and perform critical Treasury activities like matchings and settlements of deals and reconciliation of our daily cash. You will have the chance to participate and drive Treasury projects with the aim to improve our operational resilience and excellence.
You will work in close collaboration with both external and internal stakeholders. The position is based at Volvo Cars HQ in Gothenburg.
What you will do
Your tasks and responsibilities in this position will be:
• Daily Treasury activities like settlements, matchings, reconciliations and fixings.
• Daily liquidity management including reconciliation of cash pools and cash forecast.
• Drive, implement and manage projects related to the area
• Be key stakeholder towards Digital and other finance departments regarding all matters of daily Treasury activities
Do you fit the profile?
• You have a University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer and Systems Science.
• You have preferably some experience of working in Corporate Treasury or Bank.
• You make things happen and has an eye for details.
• You have a robust knowledge and understanding of Treasury as well as familiarity and interest within cash management and settlements.
• You are a target-oriented individual who has a drive to proactively improve and challenge, with ability to take own initiative and solve issues.
• You have experience working with TMS systems, preferably FIS Quantum.
