Are you experienced in RoRo/car cargo operation and willing to take on new challenges?
Due to retirements, we are looking for two new colleagues to join our operations team in Gothenburg. Key activities in those roles will be to act as both Traveling Cargo Superintendents (TCSI) in region Europe and as Local Cargo Superintendents (LCSI) in Scandinavia.
The main responsibilities are:
• As TCSI you will travel onboard vessels on outbound voyages and supervise cargo operations in different ports. You will also assure cargo quality and supervise and train crew and stevedores during operations.
• As LCSI you will for Gothenburg work with stuffing, order of labor supervise cargo operations, answer customer care freight requests, husbandry matters. For Malmö and Gdansk you will supervise discharge operations and also build up good relations with ports.
• In cooperation with central planning, you will maximize stowage onboard both as TCSI and LCSI.
Successful applicants for this role will posses the following:
A solid knowledge of RoRo/car cargo operation, preferable from ocean carriers.
• Maritime degree as deck officer.
• One Scandinavian language and very good English.
• Open attitude, team player and flexible.
• Good interpersonal skills to reach a balance between WWL and subcontractors requirements.
The positions are on local terms.
