HVDC is a business unit within the Power Grids division. ABB's HVDC unit (High Voltage Direct Current), with headquarters in Ludvika - develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. This ABB developed HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. HVDC is also used to connect power systems.
The Global Procurement and Logistics organization at ABB HVDC is strengthening its ability to perform professionally and add competitive value services within purchasing and logistics. The global PL organization is responsible for an annual purchase of over 800 MUSD, delivers value and service to ABB HVDC's large infrastructure projects around the world.

Tasks:
The TL Planner is the main contact between project and logistical department during transport execution to ensure that delivery execution shipments are sent on time and according to defined plan and schedule.
The planner works closely in high collaboration with Procurement department to ensure shipping is handled in a time and cost-effective manner. Key is to be proactive and have a good way of planning all upcoming shipments for several projects in parallel.
Prepares administrative transportation documentation for shipments to global projects. Fulfils shipping, packing and marking procedures per project requirements in compliance with governmental regulations. Releases shipments to forwarders based on packing lists. Provides administrative support in the identification and selection of forwarders for domestic/export transportation.
Requirements:
You are familiar to work in a large project environment close to the customer and have 2+ years of experience in Transport and Logistics. English is the company language and most communication is in English, therefore it is requested that you speak and can communicate fluently.
As a person you have the capability to manage and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks in a dynamic environment to ensure good planning and progress in the projects.
Is important that you in problem in planning, problem solving and decision-making skills to ensure smooth progress in the projects. To be successful in the role you need to have good team working skills and customer-oriented approach to work.
