Global purchasing of mechanical transmission components includes gears, shafts, synchronizers, flanges, etc.
Core responsibilities and main deliverables:
• Lead cross-functional team to define and maintain segment purchasing strategies
• Lead cross-functional team to make supplier selections.
• Negotiate supplier agreements
• Negotiate other commercial issues with suppliers
• Be responsible for material cost, meet project cost target and annual saving target
• Be responsible for suppliers' quality and delivery performances
• Keep data base in purchasing systems updated
• Coordinate and prepare supplier meetings
• Ensure synergy with other related purchasing functions to get best overall result for the company
• Act as supplier relationship host.

Qualifications:
• University degree, preferably in engineering or business
• Minimum 5 years purchasing experience, preferably in automotive
• Analytical, logical
• Structured way of working
• Self-driving and work independently
• Ability to work under pressure
• Proficient in English
• Good communication skills
• Open and willing to work in international environment.
• Technical knowledge of vehicle and powertrain system is a plus
• Ambition to grow and continuously improve.
