To our AVL MTC office in Gothenburg we are now looking for Test Engineer for all types of Transmission and Electromobility software systems.
As an engineer at AVL you will work with cutting edge technology in collaboration with experts in the global AVL team and our customers. You will be working at our Engineering center at Lindholmen (Gothenburg) or as Resident Engineer at customers in the Gothenburg area. There are also possibilities to have assignments on other sites in Sweden or Europe.
The product to be tested or validated could be transmission software or software for electromobility items (HV Batteries, Inverter and On Board Charger) both for light and heavy duty vehicles. Your responsibilities will include definition of test methods, planning, writing scripts, preparing test, execution of test task and reporting. We see that you have at least 3-5 years' experience from relevant areas and now are ready to take your next step in your carrier. You will participate in the ongoing and upcoming software test projects within transmission and electromobility.
We are working with projects in our own facilities and at our customers. It's important that you are open for and interested in working at our customers as consultant, being responsive and enjoys new challenges. We see that you have good social skills and always strives to deliver your uttermost. You should also have the ability drive your task forward and communicate without any problems in English and preferably also in Swedish.
Your Responsibilities: Definition of test methods, planning, preparing and execution of test task and reporting. Writing test scripts Participate in expeditions (winter, summer, high altitude) Set up and run HIL rig tests. Prepare and run in vehicle tests
Your Profile: Experience from product development of transmissions and/or electromobility for light- or heavy-duty. At least 3-5 years' experience from software testing preferably within the automotive industry. A strong interest in both product development and in the further development of our methods and tools within Drivetrain Analytical person with automotive and powertrain experience. Hands on experience in converting Request for Proposal into technical requirements. Good knowledge in measurement systems and sensors for software testing purpose. Skills in mechatronics and HIL rig programming is an advantage. Knowledge in C/C++ and Python Communication: CAN, CANalyser, CANoe, Flexray HIL systems knowledge in e.g. VTS, Oscilloscope, ETAS, dSpace Knowledge in Transmission, Hybrid Systems, HV batteries, Electric Machines, Inverters and On Board Chargers is meritorious. Functional Safety knowledge (ISO26262) is meritorious Experience from Agile work environment is meritorious Tools knowledge in INCA, MDA, MATLAB/Simulink Experience from a Gothenburg automobile OEM is meritorious. Very good social and communication skills in English (Swedish is meritorious). Good in interactions with customer & vendor. High level of integrity and responsibility Self-propelled team player, eager for continuous learning Well organized and enthusiastic team member that can lead the work forward. Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent Driver's license B (E and/or C meritorious)
Flera års erfarenhet av produktutveckling av transmissioner och/el elektormobilitiet inom lätt och tung fordonsindustri. Minst 3-5 års erfareneht av mjukvarutestning - helst inom fordonsindustrin.
