hela Sverige Are you a dedicated Engineer who likes challenges and have the right spirit? Would you like to develop future propulsion systems? We are looking for Design Engineers for all types of Transmission and Electro mobility systems.
As an engineer at AVL you will work with cutting edge technology in collaboration with experts in the global AVL team and our customers. You will be working at our Tech center at Lindholmen (Gothenburg) and together with our AVL Vicura Trollhättan site or as Resident Engineer at customers in the Gothenburg area. There are also possibilities to have assignments on other sites in Sweden or Europe.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop different parts of transmissions or electro mobility on part level, sub-system level and on system level. (Example of typical transmission areas are: gears, shafts, bearings, clutches, hydraulics and electro mobility: HV Battery, Electric Drive Unit, On board Charger)
Be responsible for specifications of the detail design.
Lead the designs towards different interfaces such as customers, suppliers, manufacturing sites, calculations and testing with main focus on attributes, cost, manufacturing feasibility and quality.
Your Profile:
Good analytical capability.
Good knowledge of machine elements.
Experience from product development of transmissions and/or electro mobility for light- or heavy-duty.
Experience from hydraulics and/or clutches is an advantage.
Knowledge in hybrid systems, HV batteries, electric machines and on board chargers is an advantage.
Good knowledge in 3D CAD modeling. Catia and/or Creo knowledge is an advantage.
Good knowledge in specification creation (e.g. drawings) and manufacturing processes used for transmission production.
Very good social and communication skills in Swedish and English
Well organized and enthusiastic team member that can lead the work forward.
