As Transmission Component Leader you manage our transmission development and the integration of transmissions in various Volvo Construction products and applications
Your responsibilities will be to lead and handle the components used in the Volvo construction machinery driveline: Both through in-house development and by sourcing
The work is conducted in close cooperation with other departments and development projects
An important area is also to lead and work with technical support to the global purchasing organisation and in contact with our suppliers
Minimum Education Required:
You have a master?s or bachelor degree (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or related field
You are open and have a positive attitude, are target oriented, flexible and able to work independently as well as in teams
You should be able to handle multiple tasks in a structured manner
Experience of transmission and axles are required. For construction machinery in particular is desirable
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish are required. Optional skills in German or French languages are beneficial
