hela Sverige The complexity of the vehicle development process has increased significantly the last decade. A modern vehicle system has to respect traffic and environmental restrictions by fluently integrating all its different vehicle modules. The integration and selection of this wide assortment of propulsion possibilities requires the implementation of a virtual approach, to evaluate drivetrain performance in early development stages. In this role we are looking for a FEA engineer within the transmissions segment.

This opening is describing your first assignment with us which will be in an international environment with focus on transmission analyses. Your client will be situated in Belgium but you will at least initially be based in Gothenburg but with possibilities to work abroad when Covid restrictions so permit.
Strength, Fatigue and NVH are the key areas but all other CAE areas connected to transmissions are meriting, such as gear design, lubrication, bearings etc. Abaqus will be the main tool used for the analyses. Personal qualities that we value are the ability to act professionally as a consultant and to understand the client's goals and values.
Necessary experience;
• Minimum 6 years of work experience of which 3 years in the automotive sector
• Extensive experienced from working with FE transmission analyses
• Skills in Abaqus (FE Solver) and Matlab
• MSc., or PhD within mechanical, mechatronics, automotive, engineering mathematics or similar
• Fluent in English and Swedish (meritous)
Meritorious experience;
• Gear design knowledge
• Skills in scripting/programming Python
• German and/or French
• Experience in Design of Experience
