The arena
Central for success of the Respiratory &Inflammation Innovative Medicin Unit is the creation of biosignatures. More specifically this describes the integration of all the data we have on the target and the compound with the information around the disease targeted, with regard to the latter it is needed to create an integrated approach of clinical, imaging and biological sources, this is called the biosignature and the translational group will be accountable.
The Role
To support the development of a biosignature and apply this thinking in the identification, assessment of new disease targets and the iMed target areas.
To devise, champion and develop scientific areas, aligned with project needs. Will be an authority in a particular area of Asthma and Inflammation, and use this knowledge to make significant contributions to the practical delivery of project goals. Coaches and supports the other scientists in the group by advising and challenging them, but also by providing expert advice and interpretation of complex data. Provides disciplinary scientific leadership and represent the department at interdisciplinary meetings internally as well as externally....
