Transition Manager

Role Requirements: . Transition manager is expected to act independently to deliver to schedule, budget and scope; support provided as required and requested, and is self- driven and motivated . Lead end-to-end transition ensuring client expectations on agreed benefits are met or exceeded. . Engage with multiple stakeholders and drive execution under tight timelines. Act as the central liaison for all transition activities. Operationalize relevant contract SLA's and obligations . Perform all project management activities including project reviews, progress tracking, status reporting, communication, issue resolution, change control, etc. . Responsible for Transition project budget with clear focus on revenue, contribution, margin for delivery of services to client. . Lead the development of preliminary and final transition plans working closely with the BD and Solutioning teams to win executable and profitable deals. . Knowledge of service transition methodology, tools and templates. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the process competency principles and practices . Very good understanding of the customer strategy, services and business processes. Ability to identify and escalate project risk and develop relationships across the IT organization . Deliver against the transition plans including application/infrastructure support models, change management, learning & communication deliverables . Conduct Due Diligence, assessments to take over Services responsibility from client/incumbent vendor

• Extensive experience in working in global delivery models with teams located onshore/nearshore/offshore . Exposure of working onsite (client site) in different geographies . Experience of managing large and complex Transition engagements . Exposure of Transitions involving Staff Transfer including multiple geographies . Experience of handling different types of Transition such as Run to Run, Build to Run and Build to Build Transition projects . IT background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in different project phases~~. 7-8 yrs of overall experience in a corporate IT environment . 4+ years of global experience in Transition related roles preferably in Application Management business . University Degree preferably in Computer Science . Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage . ITIL certification - desirable . Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills . Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
