Tre is strengthening its architecture function to support major transformation initiatives across Sweden and Denmark.
We are modernising our technology landscape, investing in cloud, AI, digital capabilities and long-term architecture to support future growth.
As part of this journey, we're looking for an experienced Transformation Lead Architect who wants to help shape the future of one of the Nordic region's leading telecom operators.
You will provide architecture leadership for major transformation initiatives, initially with a strong focus on customer, commercial and BSS transformation, ensuring that strategic decisions contribute to a coherent and sustainable technology landscape.
This is not an architecture approval role. You will create direction, establish clear design ownership and enable teams to make better decisions earlier.
About our architecture communityAt Tre, architecture is evolving into a stronger advisory capability with greater influence across business and technology.
Our architects help create clarity, guide strategic decisions and connect long-term direction with practical execution. You will work alongside Enterprise Architects, Domain Architects, Technology Architects, engineering teams and senior leaders across Sweden and Denmark.
This is an opportunity to join a growing architecture community with increasing impact on technology strategy, transformation initiatives and business outcomes.
About the roleAs our Transformation Lead Architect, you will lead architecture across major transformation initiatives and ensure that delivery remains aligned with Tre's long-term enterprise and technology direction.
You will work across multiple business capabilities, applications, platforms, suppliers and delivery teams. The role includes complex challenges spanning customer engagement, CRM, sales, billing, digital channels, integration, identity, data, migration, security and operational readiness.
Working closely with Enterprise Architects, Domain Architects, Solution Architects, Tech Leads and business stakeholders, you will create alignment across domains and help ensure that transformation outcomes contribute to a coherent target architecture.
What you'll do
In this role, you will:
Own and evolve the integrated target architecture for major transformation initiatives.
Define and maintain transition architectures, including migration, coexistence and legacy retirement.
Translate business and programme goals into clear architecture direction.
Ensure alignment with enterprise target states, roadmaps and technology standards.
Identify architectural risks, dependencies and design gaps.
Coordinate architects across domains, technologies and solution areas.
Lead architectural trade-offs across scope, cost, risk and delivery constraints.
Support leadership with recommendations, decision material and architectural guidance.
You can look forward to:
A central architecture role in one of Tre's most important business and technology transformations.
The opportunity to shape customer, commercial and technology capabilities across Sweden and Denmark.
Significant influence over target architecture, transformation sequencing and modernisation.
Close collaboration with senior business and technology leaders.
Complex architecture challenges across CRM, BSS, integration, data, cloud and security.
Being part of a growing architecture function with increasing influence on strategic business and technology decisions.
Mats describes himself as a leader:"I believe great architects create clarity rather than complexity. We provide advisory and 'marriage counseling' for IT and Business. I value curiosity, accountability and collaboration, and I encourage people to challenge established ways of working when there is a better path forward. My role as a leader is to provide direction, remove obstacles and create an environment where people can have real impact and grow in their area of expertise."
We believe you have
Must-have:
Extensive experience as a Lead Architect, Programme Architect, Transformation Architect, Enterprise Architect or similar senior architecture role.
Experience leading architecture for large-scale business and technology transformations.
Experience establishing target architectures and transition roadmaps.
Strong understanding of how business capabilities, applications, integration, security, infrastructure and operations fit together.
Experience coordinating architecture across multiple domains, delivery teams and suppliers.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Ability to turn ambiguity and complexity into clear decisions and direction.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice-to-have:
Experience from telecom or subscription-based businesses.
Experience with major CRM or BSS transformation initiatives.
Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce or Amdocs.
Knowledge of cloud, integration, identity or security architecture.
TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
Who you are
We're looking for someone who:
Thinks strategically while remaining pragmatic.
Creates clarity in complex environments.
Builds strong relationships across business, technology and suppliers.
Is calm and structured under pressure.
Creates alignment across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Is curious, proactive and driven by continuous improvement.
You lead through credibility, collaboration and expertise. You enable others rather than becoming a bottleneck.
LocationThe position can be based in Stockholm, Malmö, Gothenburg/Mölndal or Copenhagen.
