Job description:
The Senior System Administrator will form part of an IT team, supporting our international organization. You will be responsible day-to-day care and maintenance of all mission critical computing environments. There is a broad and diverse scope to the role ranging from new virtual server setups, SAN/WAN administration, AD/Exchange troubleshooting to SQL cluster management, user support and project management etc.
Main tasks:
• Management and support of Windows Servers, Active Directory, Exchange 2010, Email Archiving, VMware virtual infrastructure, Networking and related tools.
• Review and provide security management best practices.
• Hardware & software evaluation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Monitoring and optimizing system performance.
• Administration and support of backup systems and software. Develop and implement effective backup strategies for Enterprise Systems.
• Provide technical support and service to users via telephone, email and web.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 5 years experience with Microsoft Server, complex computing platforms, and related technologies involving virtualization (VMware), distribution, and high performance computing in an enterprise environment.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Directory services, Global Policy Object application architecture and Cisco Network technologies.
• In-depth experience with Citrix XenApp/Xen Desktop.
• Extensive knowledge of existing industry standards, technologies, and operational norms.

The position is based in Gothenburg and some international travel is required.
