Vattenfall is Europe's fifth largest electricity generator and the largest producer of heat and operates in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Benelux and the UK. Our strategy is to reduce emissions from power generation with a road map to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Business Division Renewables is responsible for wind power and biomass. Investments in wind power is an important cornerstone to deliver our road map and we plan, build and own wind farms in six countries, onshore and offshore. Investment in biomass fuel is key to further reduce the emissions. We have about 350 employees.
Within BD Renewables the Business Unit Onshore Wind Projects (BU Onshore) is now looking to recruit a Transaction Manager. BU Onshore constantly need to expand its portfolio of onshore wind projects which is done through both own development and through acquisition of projects (Brownfield acquisitions). The Transaction Manager will work with acquisitions in the Nordic market.
Transaction Manager, Business Unit Onshore Wind Projects / Sweden
The right person will search, identify and execute successful acquisitions of early and late Brownfield projects. You will also participate in Divestment activities and be supportive in other commercial and financial transactions within BU Onshore Wind Projects.
Main work tasks and responsibilities
• To analyse and scan primarily the Swedish markets for early and late Brownfield acquisition opportunities
• To build and maintain market knowledge and network
• To lead Acquisition and Divestment projects
• To implement and lead negotiations regarding price, conditions, transfer documents etc.
• To guide the projects through the Vattenfall internal decision process
• To support and advice stakeholders within our Onshore project development organisation in commercial and financial transactions
Qualification
• You have an academic degree on a Master level in Finance or equivalent
• You have at least 2 years of experience from working with Acquisitions within a relevant field of business
• You are a skilled project leader and have experience from leading multidimensional teams in complex projects
• You are fluent in spoken and written English
• Experience from the wind energy business is a strong merit
