In order to build strong One Company concepts across the company, we are now looking to strengthening the team with a temporary resource, a Training & Development Manager. This role will report to our Group Head of Onboard Sales and Services (OSS).

LOCATION: Gothenburg or Belfast

What will you do?
As Training & Development Manager you will have a group wide responsibility to develop, manage and coordinate all non-safety OSS Training. It will be your responsibility to establish a training and development infrastructure for our OSS Managers and employees. One of your missions will be to source and develop appropriate training content and cost effective solutions to deliver the training. This role is also responsible for establishing an internal coaching culture by supporting the managers and train the trainers.

Some of your key responsibilities:

• Ensure a consistent and standardized, "One Company" approach is applied to training and development whilst optimizing the quality and cost effectiveness of training content
• Source and develop appropriate non- safety training content for all OSS roles within all disciplines and departments
• Act as main training link to the regions, communicating opportunities and associated costs
• Work with regions on allocating and securing adequate annual training budget
• Ensure training plans are completed on a continual basis
• Measure performance in relation to standards and service and provide feedback to the respective areas of the business
• Provide and drive group wide training programs to improve standards of performance and levels of customer experience

Who are you?

You also have a strong business acumen and are motivated by creating strong results.

The must-haves:

• Experience in setting up an infrastructure for Training & Development
• Experience in sourcing content for training, particularly within the service and hospitality industry
• Experience in creating Service or F&B training & development material and instructions
• Experience in coaching others to facilitate the trainings
• Experience in creating and holding presentations
• Great computer skills
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
