The role of Training Engineer focuses on preparing for and delivering training programs on MathWorks products as they relate to common customer applications. This person will deliver MathWorks product and application specific trainings to customers in the Nordic region. Primary areas of instruction include MATLAB programming, statistical data analysis, optimization, modeling, and simulation.
Responsibilities
• Delivering courses on MathWorks products with the aim of ensuring successful customer adoption. This will include MATLAB and Simulink at an introductory level as well as advanced and application focused courses.
• Working with customers to gather requirements and developing customized curricula for a variety of technical fields.
• Collaboration and coordination with Nordic presales team and the worldwide training organization.
• Providing feedback through reports and systems to our development and sales organizations based on classroom observations.
• Identifying and implementing classroom delivery improvements based on student evaluations.
Providing feedback and assistance in the creation or update of course material.
• Staying current on new product features and messaging to include in the delivery of courses.
Qualifications Required / Preferred
• Passion for Training
• MS in Engineering (BS with at least 3 years of experience) or similar.
• Knowledge of MATLAB (or similar product).
• First-hand industrial experience is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• The candidate should have demonstrated ability enthuse and motivate others as well as deliver excellent stand-up training for highly technical audience.
• Fluent written and spoken English are essential, good knowledge in Nordic languages would be helpful.
